Cooking Information:

  • Estimated Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo ground pork
  • 1/4 kilo shrimps, chopped
  • 2 medium size onion, chopped
  • 1 small size singkamas, chopped
  • 1 medium size carrot, chopped
  • 2 stalk celery, chopped
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • lumpia or spring roll wrappers
  • cooking oil

Procedure:

  • Mix all filling ingredients thoroughly.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of filling on one side of wrapper and wrap tightly, secure wrapper by lightly dabbing water on wrapper edge.
  • In a wok deep fry lumpia at medium to low heat for 2-3 minutes or until wrapper is golden brown and filling is cooked.
  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce or Thai sweet chili sauce.

Cooking Information:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kilo pork loin, sliced
  • 1 small can pineapple chunks
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 1 red & 1 green bell peppers, sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of peanut oil
  • 4 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic

Procedure:

  • Boil pork in a pot with 2 cups of water with salt until tender, drain and keep the pork stock.
  • Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and soy sauce in a cup then coat the pork with the cornstarch mixture.
  • Fried the pork in a skillet until brown, set aside.
  • Dissolve the remaining 2 tablespoons of cornstarch on ½ cup of pork stock, set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and onions.
  • Add the bell peppers, pineapple chunks (including the syrup), ketchup, sugar, ½ teaspoon salt and the dissolve cornstarch. Stir until sauce is thickens.
  • Pour over fried pork then served.
