Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lbs. of chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup soy sauces
  • 1 to 2 bay leaves (laurel)
  • 1 teaspoons peppercorns (paminta), crushed
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 2 to 8 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons of cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • potatoes, quartered (optional)

Procedure

  • In a hot cooking pot, sauté garlic and onions in a cooking oil
  • Combine chicken, water, soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves and potatoes.
  • Place in a large fire until boiling, stir occasionally and simmer for 30 minutes.
