Choco Panna Cotta Recipe

Ingredients for the Vanilla Panna Cotta:

  • 2 teaspoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Ingredients for the Chocolate Panna Cotta

  • 2 teaspoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup choquik belgian choco powder
  • 1 teaspoon black cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups cream

Procedure:

  1. Sprinkle gelatin and sugar over combined milk and cream in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Stir over low heat, without boiling, until gelatin and sugar dissolves. Stir in the vanilla extract. Strain into a medium jug. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Pour panna cotta mixture over the glasses and allow to set in the refrigerator, about 2-3 hours.
  4. Make the chocolate panna cotta. Sprinkle gelatin belgian choco powder and cocoa powder over combined milk and cream in a medium sized saucepan. Stir with a whisk until well combined.
  5. Stir over low heat, without boiling, until gelatin and sugar dissolves. Strain into a medium jug. Cool to room temperature.
  6. Pour panna cotta mixture over the glasses with the vanilla panna cotta and allow to set in the refrigerator, about 2-3 hours.
  7. Make one more batch of the vanilla panna cotta then another recipe of the chocolate panna cotta to come up with 4 striped layers.
  8. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
