Choco Panna Cotta Recipe
Ingredients for the Vanilla Panna Cotta:
- 2 teaspoons gelatin
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Ingredients for the Chocolate Panna Cotta
- 2 teaspoons gelatin
- 1/4 cup choquik belgian choco powder
- 1 teaspoon black cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups cream
Procedure:
- Sprinkle gelatin and sugar over combined milk and cream in a medium sized saucepan.
- Stir over low heat, without boiling, until gelatin and sugar dissolves. Stir in the vanilla extract. Strain into a medium jug. Cool to room temperature.
- Pour panna cotta mixture over the glasses and allow to set in the refrigerator, about 2-3 hours.
- Make the chocolate panna cotta. Sprinkle gelatin belgian choco powder and cocoa powder over combined milk and cream in a medium sized saucepan. Stir with a whisk until well combined.
- Stir over low heat, without boiling, until gelatin and sugar dissolves. Strain into a medium jug. Cool to room temperature.
- Pour panna cotta mixture over the glasses with the vanilla panna cotta and allow to set in the refrigerator, about 2-3 hours.
- Make one more batch of the vanilla panna cotta then another recipe of the chocolate panna cotta to come up with 4 striped layers.
- Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
