Lechon Kawali Recipe

Ingredients:

1 kilo pork belly (liempo)
2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp peppercorn
4 cloves garlic, pounded
1 bottle 7-up or sprite (optional)
cooking oil

Sauce ingredients:

vinegar
soy sauce
onion, chopped
garlic, minced

Procedure:

Boil water with salt, garlic, peppercorn and 7-up.
Add pork and bring to a boil until tender.
Strain pork and keep dry. Deep fry in hot cooking oil until golden brown and crispy.

Sopa de Fideos Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 cup ground pork
1 1/2 garlic
4 cups broth
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pkg fideos (vermicelli)
1 pc scrambled egg
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper

Procedure:

Saute garlic, onions and ground pork
Cook well and add broth and bring to a boil.
Add pepper and fideos till done. Add scrambled eggs. Serve.
