Pork Puchero Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Pork butt or shoulder, cut into small cubes
- 1 pc green onions, chopped
- 1 pc celery stalk
- 1 head cabbage
- 2 pcs potatoes, cut into cubes
- 1/4 lb green string beans
- 1 pc green pepper, chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup garbanzo beans
- 2 tbsp salt
Procedure:
- In a pot, add your meat and filled water until boil. Reduce the heat and wait until the meat is tender.
- Remove meat from the pot, add green beans, potatoes and cabbage.
- In a saucepan, saute celery, green pepper, onions and garlic. Add tomato sauce then simmer for a few minutes.
- Add some pork broth and chickpeas.
- Serve the dishes on steamed rice and garnish with Pepperoni slices. Pour the tomato sauce over the meat and vegetables.
