Relyenong Alimango Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 stalk chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 13 oz. Carnation Evap
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced parsley
  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 large egg yolks (slightly beaten)
  • 200g American cheese (shredded)
  • 750g Crabmeat (fresh) * keep the shells

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In low heat, saute, celery, onions in butter, add green onions& fry slightly.
  3. Blend in flour, stirring well.
  4. Add Carnation Evap and seasonings, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat when its thickened.
  6. Cook yolks on low heat for 5 minutes stirring or until thickened.
  7. Remove it from heat and place the crabmeat in.
  8. Pour the mixture into each shell and top with cheese.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted
