Shanghai Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsps garlic, minced
  • 3 pcs chinese sausages, sliced into 1/8 inch thick pieces
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup scallions
  • 1/4 cup shallots, minced
  • 1/2 cup pork loin, sliced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsps vegetable or corn oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh shrimps, shelled, chopped
  • 5 cups cold cooked rice, mashed lightly with 1 cup of cold water

Procedure:

  1. In a frying pan, Add oil and fry the garlic and shallots. Add sausages, pork and shrimps. Season with soy sauce and parsley.
  2. Add rice and continue frying up to 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Mix all the ingredients when done, garnish with scallions.
